Meet Todd and Valerie Jones,
Area Developer for Eastern, Central and Southwest Virginia

Todd and Valerie Jones have been married close to 20 years, have three children and are business partners and coaches for Office Pride. Because they own and run an Office Pride franchise with greater than 2 million in revenue and are on the frontlines, they have the experience to coach, launch and scale new Office Pride franchisees in the Virginia area.

The Joneses enjoy working with people with an entrepreneurial spirit from many different backgrounds, including the young go getter, those on a second career, homeschool families, retired military and those with the American Dream of owning their own business.

“An Office Pride franchise is a great opportunity because we are unlimited in our growth, have business systems in place to help franchisees succeed, work together to help people reach their dreams and serve customers with excellence, all under the umbrella of honoring God,” Valerie shares. “Those are values that make us different and unbeatable.”

After a new franchisee attends Office Pride’s robust one-week classroom training, Todd and Valerie guide them through the Office Pride business systems, from the franchise vision plan through a customer sales and operations plan and then join them in the field teaching them hands-on marketing, sales and operations as they sign on new customers.

“We are a family and work to scale your business quickly to help you meet your financial goals as well as your goals to give to the community,” Todd shares. “As area developers, your success is our success as we grow our region and area together.”

The Joneses are members of the International Facility Management Association; Building Service Contractors Association International; and the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification.

Frequently Asked Questions

The franchise fee is $35,000, which includes initial training delivered from our training center in Palm Harbor, Florida, and follow-up training and in-market training and support within your area. For complete information, please refer to our 2021 Franchise Disclosure Document.

Typically, it takes between 30 and 90 days to launch and get an Office Pride franchise operational. After you return home from initial training, and with the support of your area developer, you should be building your customer base by the end of your first month.

Yes. We are a five-star participant in the International Franchise Association’s (IFA’s) VetFran program, and we offer a discount of 25% off our franchise fee to honorably discharged military veterans.

The standard royalty fee is 9% of all gross revenue sales collected, plus 1% of all gross revenue sales collected for the national ad fund. The ad fund fee goes toward national marketing and public relations efforts on the franchise system’s behalf, plus marketing collateral, consumer educational and sales materials, your personalized location page, social media marketing support and more.

Our business model trains you to train others to do the cleaning. Many franchisees will tell you they still do some cleaning on occasion – such as when a worker calls in sick or quits on short notice, for instance – but all of the cleaning should be done by your cleaning personnel.

Office Pride franchisees find workers through their church, newspaper, online job boards, networking, referrals from their employees and other sources. Your ideal worker might already have a full-time job and be looking for a way to supplement their income, or be a student looking to earn while they learn. Many are retirees looking to make some extra money and stay active. At your own discretion, you can offer full-time or part-time employment with flexible scheduling.

We don’t saturate a market or pit franchisees against one another. The fact is, there is enough room in every market, large or small, for everyone. We give franchisees the capacity to sell their own accounts and grow their businesses within our franchise framework of nonexclusive market areas. With 84 billion square feet of commercial space in this country, there are plenty of customers to go around.

The answer to that question is entirely up to you. You can find financials in our FDD – Item 19. While the potential is there, only your hard work and effort will determine your actual revenue and income.

We work with you to achieve two short-term goals:

  • First, launch your business and achieve a break-even cash flow that includes an owner’s salary.
  • Second, grow beyond that to achieve your personal equity growth goals.

In addition to the $35,000 franchise fee, you will need liquid capital for startup costs and be prepared with approximately six to nine months’ of living expenses. Refer to our Initial Investment and Startup Cost page and refer to Item 19 of our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for complete information.
