Ongoing training and support ensures that interaction with current and potential clients leads to sales and business growth

Many franchise owners come to the world of small business ownership from a career that involves sales. But for those who do not, Office Pride has developed a comprehensive franchise sales coaching training program. This program helps them learn not just the business, but how to sell many services through franchise sales coaching.

“Franchise owners are enthusiastic, entrepreneurial people who are ready to embrace every aspect of owning their own business,” explains Rich Helm, Franchise Development Manager. “And like anyone, they have areas in which they are strong and other areas that require some development. That’s why we train on every aspect of the business, including sales.”

Initial Onboarding Includes Sales Coaching

When someone becomes an Office Pride commercial cleaning franchise owner, he or she spends a week at the corporate office in Tampa, Florida. That comprehensive onboarding experience includes everything from learning to operate cleaning equipment to exploring the back-office bookkeeping and other systems every franchise uses to operate. It also has some hands-on sessions about sales.

“We use everything – from printed materials to discussions to scenarios – to provide some basic sales training,” Helm says. “That way, new franchise owners get a sense of how to talk about Office Pride’s differentiators with a potential client, as well as work with clients they might already have to uncover new opportunities for additional revenue-producing work.”

Ongoing Training Bolsters Sales Skills

Office Pride corporate trainers also spend time in the field with new owners . They help them set up sales calls and make sure they are ready. This is part of their training prepare to engage with the businesses in their territory. Then they help jumpstart their business by begin building a book of clients.

“We want them to hit the ground running so we don’t just train them for a few days and send them on their way,” Helm says. “We visit them as they are getting started and we also work together with them throughout the year. That can be through regional workshops, a site visit or through the workshops at our annual conference. Sales is a key component of business success for Office Pride franchise owners so we never stop learning, teaching and training on how to be better.”

For more than 27 years, Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services, a faith-based franchise system has offered entrepreneurs a proven business system, comprehensive support network and a lucrative financial opportunity – plus the ability to live your faith through your own business and make a difference in your community.
