The faith-based franchise brought together family of franchisees for four-day networking and learning event
It was a time for celebration for Office Pride, the national faith-based franchise, which has been a staple of the $78 billion commercial cleaning industry for 25 years. The brand’s 25th anniversary was the theme for this year’s annual convention held in its Palm Harbor, Florida headquarters from September 27-30.
Office Pride’s philosophy is rooted in celebrating franchisee successes as part of one large family and this was indeed the case as franchisees from all over the country networked and shared experiences and ideas over the four-day retreat.
One of the two motivational keynote addresses was delivered by Simon T. Bailey, the CEO of Simon T. Bailey International, a premium education company specializing in creating learning and development content for individuals and organizations. Bailey reminded attendees that their employees were their number one customer. “Be the hand up, not just the hand out for your employees,” he said, “they will be transformed and so will their families.” Bill Thrasher, a notable speaker about the advantages of living a fulfilling Christian life, delivered the second keynote address.
The retreat also included a series of seminars targeted at growing business opportunities. Presented by industry experts along three tracks — Operations, Sales, and Administration — the talks addressed a wide variety of topics from reclaiming a personal life, how to keep managers, pricing for margin, emotional IQ and valuing the business.
Evening social hours of networking, including receptions, capped each day’s events. One of the many highlights of the successful convention included an awards ceremony which recognized the many contributions to the faith-based franchise. Office Pride’s CEO, Todd Hopkins, was awarded an original painting of an Office Pride Indy 500 race car to commemorate the silver jubilee and worship singer Phil Wickham added to the evening’s festive mood.
As attendees successfully wrapped up this year’s retreat, they looked forward to the next edition. Among the many ideas slated for discussion were company culture and cash flow management.
Office Pride incorporates honor, integrity, accountability and going the extra mile in all aspects of its faith based franchise. The retreat again showed Office Pride’s unwavering commitment to its family of franchisees through networking opportunities and strong ongoing support. As Office Pride expands, the faith based franchise is dedicated to keeping its core values front and center.
