Leadership coach opens judicial service company

Longtime banker and business consultant Scott McClymonds has opened a commercial cleaning service franchise operation in Northwest Arkansas.

Office Pride is a faith-based company headquartered in Florida, with more than 100 locations throughout the U.S. The new office marks the first in Arkansas.

McClymonds said he tapped into the franchise because he felt connected to the company’s Christian values, and because he and wife Cindy, co-founder, were looking for a way to contribute to the region.

“My consulting firm takes me all over the country, to everywhere but Northwest Arkansas. It’s the nature of the business,” said McClymonds who coaches business leaders through his company, CEO Velocity.

With Office Pride, McClymonds wants “to connect people with good jobs” and, in turn, stimulate the economy.

The Northwest Arkansas branch, founded in August, now employs seven, and the McClymonds plan to grow the staf to 50 within a year. The operation provides services to commercial establishments in Benton and Washington counties.

To McClymonds, Ofce Pride also represents an opportunity to run a family business that can be passed down to the next generation.

“With a consultant company and the experience that is required to run that, I don’t have a business that my children can just plug into,” he said.

His children, ages 16 and 11, have already gotten involved with Office Pride, McClymonds said.

McClymonds will continue his consulting business and speaking engagements. However, he plans to be “highly selective” in the work he chooses to do in that realm.
